How to Play Jujutsu Incremental
The real loop on Candescent Games' client — train, roll, quest, raid — without importing another idle's prestige chart.
How to play Jujutsu Incremental is a loop question, not a combo question. Candescent Games built an incremental RPG: power comes from EXP, rolls, quests, and raid rewards, not from frame-perfect parries. If you treat it like a fighting game you will overvalue movement and undervalue the tier list. If you treat it like a different jujutsu idle you will look for prestige buttons that are not in the official description.
This page is the systems map. Pair it with getting started for the first hour and with controls for the buttons.
The five verbs
The live Roblox listing names the verbs. Play them in this order unless a quest forces a detour.
1. Train
Training is the idle spine. You generate EXP, the group EXP boost multiplies it, and that EXP is how you stay relevant when raid HP jumps after UPD 2. Train when the party is late, when you are on mobile in a queue, and when you have no roll currency. Do not train instead of redeeming codes. Codes are burst. Training is rate.
2. Fight
Regular enemies exist so you can test a Technique without wiping four people. A kit that cannot clear the open world will not clear raid bosses. Use fights to answer one question: “Does this Technique do what I thought?” If the answer is no, you have a rolling problem, not a “git gud” problem.
3. Roll Techniques, Clans, and Traits
Three slots, three jobs:
- Technique — the kit you press. Rank it on techniques.
- Clan — the passive that is on even when you are a passenger in co-op. Rank it on clans.
- Trait — the multiplier or side-rule. Rank it on traits.
Never roll all three at once on a new account. Lock Technique, then Clan, then Trait. Best builds are trios, not singles.
4. Complete quests
The description promises exclusive quest rewards. That is the account’s directed content. Follow quests so you are not farming a raid for a drop that a quest already hands you. If a quest wants a raid, it is a gate, not a suggestion.
5. Raid with up to four players
Online co-op is official. Raid bosses are the spike content. Read raid bosses before you burn the party’s evening. Roles: carry, breaker, anchor, flex. Identities: sorcerers versus cursed spirits. Devices: PC, mobile, Xbox, PlayStation — someone in the stack will not be on mouse and keyboard.
Resource hygiene
Think in four wallets even if the HUD uses different names:
- EXP — multiplied by the group like/join. Spend time, not premium currency, unless you know why.
- Rolls — burst from Settings codes and from play. Spend with a keep-rule.
- Quest tokens / exclusive rewards — miss them and you will “need” a script later.
- Raid loot — party content. Do not solo a four-player boss because chat dared you.
Scripts try to print these wallets faster. They also print bans. If the loop feels slow, you skipped the 15% boost or you are on a C-tier Technique, not because the genre is broken.
Session structure that actually works
- Social + Settings (group EXP boost, how to redeem).
- One roll decision, maximum.
- Quest block.
- Training filler.
- Raid block with a full party.
- Stop. Write down what you will reroll tomorrow. Use the session checklist.
Long sessions without a stop rule are how people panic-reroll an S kit after one wipe.
What “how to play” is not
It is not a keybind list (that is controls). It is not a patch manifesto (that is updates). It is not a character novel (that is players). When Candescent Games adds a system that is not in the current description — a second Technique slot, a prestige layer, a trading stall — it will appear on UPD 2 or a later child page first. Until then, do not import those systems from another wiki.
Play the five verbs. Rank the three slots. Bring three friends. That is Jujutsu Incremental.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
Is this a fighting game?
No. It is an incremental RPG with combat. Builds and rates matter more than movement tech. Start with getting started.
Where is prestige / reincarnation?
Not in the official Candescent description. If you see those words, you are reading a different Roblox title. Stick to this how to play page and updates.
How many players can raid?
Up to four, online. Details on raid bosses and best builds.
What should I do if I am stuck?
Claim the group EXP boost, redeem codes, then reroll using the tier list instead of grinding a dead kit.
