Jujutsu Incremental Cursed Spirit Identities
The other half of the roster — pressure kits that want a party, not a quiet solo train session.
Cursed spirits are the non-human identities in Jujutsu Incremental. Official roster art gives them their own panel: volcanic body, green fire, gold earrings, a posture that says breaker, not student. They are not “hard mode sorcerers.” They are a different job in the four-player stack. If you want a quiet first hour, play a sorcerer fighter instead. If you want raid bosses to melt while someone else carries, stay here.
Candescent Games still asks spirits to roll Techniques, Clans, and Traits. The tier list does not get you a free pass because the silhouette looks rarer.
Volcanic disaster spirit
The marketed spirit. Room pressure, burn, chip. S as a breaker in a four-stack because the carry can spend a nuke while the floor is already hostile. Awkward as a solo quest runner if the kit wants you to stay in melee puddles.
Keep the Technique if the dummy fight shows lingering damage. Pair with a pact Clan from clans, not with a duelist glass Trait. Phase 3 of a raid will punish glass.
Manipulator pact spirit
Some spirit kits are less “monster” and more “I brought extra problems.” Control, summons, or stolen pressure. These play like the topknot sorcerer lane with uglier visuals. They are A in voice chat and B in silence.
If your friends are on PlayStation with overlay issues, this is a bad night to debut a setup-heavy spirit. Fix controls first.
Hybrid / vessel-adjacent spirits
The magenta-field fighter art sits on the line between sorcerer and spirit. If the Technique text talks about cursed energy and self-damage, treat it as a spirit for Trait matching. Greedy kits need sustain Clans. They do not need another output Trait on top.
When not to play a cursed spirit
- You have not claimed the group EXP boost yet. Rate problems first, identity second.
- You have no party. Spirits want jobs.
- You still have a C Technique. Identity will not save a dead kit. Rolling will.
- You learned the genre ten minutes ago. Finish getting started.
- You installed an auto farm GUI to “make the spirit work.” If the kit needs a bot, the kit is wrong.
Raid job: breaker (and sometimes carry)
In a default four-stack, the spirit is the breaker:
- Apply pressure before the sorcerer nuke.
- Do not stand where the carry needs to stand.
- Save the panic button for adds, not for the first telegraph.
A spirit can carry if the Technique is the volcanic S lane and the rest of the party brought sustain. That party is a best builds page, not a solo fantasy.
Training as a spirit
Incrementals still want EXP ticks. If your spirit kit is weaker in the open world than a fighter sorcerer, train anyway with the 15% boost on. Do not only log in for raids. Quests that expect open-world kills will stall, and you will blame the log instead of the identity. Mix a dummy fight into every session checklist run.
Settings codes still matter. Rare spirit Techniques often arrive from bursts, not from wishing. Redeem with how to redeem, then spend on Technique first.
Patch and disambiguation
Other Roblox jujutsu idles have huge cursed-spirit trees, Mahoraga wheels, and idle transfiguration essays. Those are other games. If a guide mentions them, leave. This client is place 100952587881256. Live context is UPD 2. Outbound URLs are on official links.
Play a spirit because the job is pressure, not because the loading screen was louder than the shrine courtyard.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
Is a cursed spirit good for beginners?
Usually no. Start on a sorcerer fighter — sorcerers and getting started — then move here when you have a party.
What job does a spirit play in raids?
Breaker, sometimes carry. Roles are defined on raid bosses and best builds.
My spirit kit feels weak in quests.
Many spirit kits want raid rooms. Do fighter-friendly quests on a second loadout or accept slower clears.
Should I reroll a volcanic spirit?
Not if the dummy fight shows lingering pressure. Lock Technique, then find a pact Clan on clans.
