Jujutsu Incremental How to Beat Raid Bosses

Official four-player raids: roles, wipe causes, and when to walk away from a boss.

Raid Bosses

Raid bosses are the spike content Candescent Games put on the box. The listing says take on powerful raid bosses and team up with up to four players. That is not flavor text. A boss that is tuned for a four-stack will punish a solo “I can cook” run even if your Technique is S on the tier list.

This guide is how to queue, how to assign jobs, and how to know the boss is a waste of tonight’s EXP. Pair it with best builds, controls, and the session checklist.

Before you press queue

  1. Everyone claimed the group EXP boost. Raid EXP is still EXP.
  2. Everyone redeemed Settings codes already. Do not open Settings mid-pull.
  3. At least one player read UPD 2. Mechanics move.
  4. The party has more than one identity. Four copies of the same sorcerer kit looks cinematic and dies to the first AoE that wants an anchor.
  5. Devices are declared. A PlayStation player who cannot see your PC ping needs controls, not a lecture.

If any of those five are false, train and quest instead. Incremental games always have a slower legal activity.

The four jobs

You may not see class icons. Assign jobs in chat anyway.

  • Carry — highest Technique rank. Their job is to spend the kit when the boss is vulnerable. Build from techniques.
  • Breaker — status, armor, or pressure so the carry’s hits are not absorbed. Often a cursed-spirit lane; see cursed spirits.
  • Anchor — sustain Clan or Trait. They keep the wipe timer honest. Clan ranks: clans.
  • Flex — quest-complete, extra rolls, extra body. They still need a B-or-better Technique so they are not a loot sponge.

If you only have two players, one is carry and one is anchor. Two carries and no sustain is a speedrun into the defeat screen.

Fight structure that works on incrementals

Raid bosses in this genre usually have three phases even when the UI does not name them:

  1. Learn — first 20 seconds. Nobody spends the ultimate. Watch the telegraph.
  2. Spend — burst window. Carry presses the kit. Breaker applies the status. Flex does not stand in the puddle.
  3. Survive — enrage, add spawn, or room wipe. Anchor skills here. If your Trait is a glass cannon, this is where rolling should have saved you.

Wipes that happen in phase 1 are a controls or ping problem. Wipes in phase 3 are a kit problem. Do not reroll after a phase-1 wipe.

When to leave the boss

Walk away when:

  • You cannot fill four players and the boss clearly has a four-person mechanic.
  • Your Technique is C/D and you have spins sitting in the currency wallet.
  • The party is arguing about a Trello card from a different jujutsu idle.
  • You already got the quest item and the extra loot is worse EXP than training with the 15% boost.
  • A hotfix is rolling; check updates.

Staying for pride is how incrementals eat evenings.

Loot and what to do with it

Spend raid rewards on the slot that failed the fight. If you died because the Technique had no range, you do not need a new Trait. If you died because you had no sustain, look at Clans and Traits, not a flashier cursed spirit skin.

Take loot decisions back to rolling, not to chat. Then run one more quest so exclusive rewards do not rot while you screenshot the boss.

Automation in raids

Auto farm scripts that “insta raid” are compiled for other clients more often than not, and they are the fastest way to look like a bot on a leaderboard. If a stranger in your four-stack is clearly macroing and the boss dies in one tick, leave. You do not want to be the account tied to that log. Legal clears are slower and keep the save.

For the play loop that feeds raids, stay on how to play. For first-hour setup, getting started. For outbound URLs, official links.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

Can I solo raid bosses?

You can try. The listing is tuned for up to four players. If the mechanic needs spread, solo is a wipe. Bring a party from best builds.

What is the minimum kit?

A playable A-tier Technique and a sustain Clan. Rank them on the tier list before you queue.

Xbox and PlayStation can raid?

Yes. The official page lists both. Use controls so console players can ready up.

We wiped. Do we reroll?

Not after one wipe. Read the phase, then change one slot using rolling. Check UPD 2 if a mechanic looks new.
