Jujutsu Incremental Sorcerer Identities
How the human-side roster plays in quests and four-player raids after UPD 2.
Sorcerers are the human-side identities in Jujutsu Incremental. Official art puts them on shrine grounds, in school uniforms, and in the cyan-eye key visual. If you want a first account that survives quests without a dedicated party, start here. Cursed spirits have their own page: cursed spirits. Full trios live on best builds.
This is not a copied Grade table from another idle. Candescent Games sells Techniques, Clans, and Traits. Identities are how those slots are marketed.
Cyan-eye / blindfold sorcerer
The store thumbnail. Long-range cursed energy, readable as a raid carry. Lock the matching Technique on techniques, then a sustain Clan so phase 3 of raid bosses does not delete the glass canon. Beginners can keep this identity the moment it drops; do not reroll it because chat wants a spirit.
Weakness: you will be targeted. Play with an anchor. Mobile users should move the skill button so thumbs do not cover telegraphs — controls.
Red-hood fighter
The beginner sorcerer. Close-range, simple dummy test, excellent for getting started. A-tier Technique lane, A-tier Clan lane. You will out-quest flashier kits and lose screenshot contests. That is a good trade for week one.
Weakness: raid AoE. If the boss paints the floor, you need a party insurance Trait from traits or you need to be flex, not carry.
Topknot manipulator
Control lane. Strong when three other players listen. Weak in silence. Rank the Clan A in a coordinated stack, B in public fill. This identity is why how to play talks about jobs instead of just DPS meters.
Weakness: setup time. Do not pick manipulator if your friends only have twenty minutes and still need to redeem codes.
Spiky-hair summoner
Extra bodies. Those bodies eat mechanics, which is another way of saying “mobile-friendly.” A in raids, especially when the party is mixed-device. Summons also make training less empty, which respects the incremental loop.
Weakness: visual clutter. If you cannot see the boss telegraph behind your own summons, turn effects down in Settings — the same Settings that holds codes (how to redeem).
Blood / burst sorcerer
Magenta-field art. High quest speed, greedy resources. Pair only with a Trait that feeds the greed. Otherwise you are a wipe timer.
Weakness: empty resource in phase 3. Carry this identity only if the Clan is sustain.
How to choose as a new sorcerer
- Claim the group EXP boost.
- Redeem Settings codes.
- Keep the first A-or-better Technique that matches one of the lanes above.
- Do not switch to a cursed spirit mid-session because a loading screen looked cooler. Switching identity is a rolling project, not a vibe.
- Take the kit through one quest chain and one raid as flex.
If nothing A-tier drops, play the fighter lane on a B kit and wait. EXP with the 15% boost is how more rolls appear. Scripts are not a substitute for that patience.
Party composition
A comfortable four-stack with sorcerers:
- Carry: cyan-eye nuke.
- Flex: fighter.
- Anchor: whoever rolled the sustain Clan, even if their silhouette is boring.
- Breaker: manipulator or summoner.
If you have four fighters, you do not have a raid party. You have a group photo. Rewrite it using best builds before you queue.
Patch notes that retune a marketed sorcerer will show up on UPD 2 first. Re-test on a dummy, then keep using this page’s jobs rather than a new nickname from chat.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
Best sorcerer for solo quests?
The fighter lane, then the cyan-eye nuke if you rolled it. See quests and getting started.
Best sorcerer for raids?
Cyan-eye carry plus a sustain Clan. Jobs are on raid bosses and best builds.
Can I mix sorcerers and cursed spirits?
Yes, and you should. Read cursed spirits for the other half of the roster.
My sorcerer feels weak after UPD 2.
Test on a dummy, then read UPD 2. Do not reroll S on patch day.
