Jujutsu Incremental Prestige and Reincarnation

When the grind flattens, the prestige window opens — here is how to read it and not waste it.

Prestige System

Prestige in Jujutsu Incremental is a full account reset that compounds your baseline cursed energy output on the next run. It is not a punishment. It is the second half of the incremental loop: you grind until the rate of return on another session exceeds the rate of return on restarting with a stronger foundation. The live title is currently [UPD 2] Jujutsu Incremental; the prestige system has been in the client since the April 2026 launch and is not new to UPD 2, but the second major drop is when most players first hit the wall that makes prestige worth timing.

Read how to play before this page. If you do not know what a Technique, Clan, or Trait slot is, prestige will confuse you.

When prestige is actually worth it

The honest answer is: when your current run produces fewer than three to four hours of meaningful progress per session and you have exhausted the content the tier list can unlock. That is not a day-one condition. That is a condition most accounts hit after week two or three of daily sessions.

Signs the window is open:

  • Every training tick produces less than 0.5 % of your total cursed energy bar.
  • Quests are all complete or blocked by a four-player gate you cannot clear.
  • All three roll slots (Technique, Clan, Trait) hold at least B-tier pieces.
  • The group EXP boost is already on and the 15 % no longer moves the needle.

Prestige is a rate decision, not a prestige decision. If you prestige because a YouTube thumbnail told you to, you will restart with the same A-tier pieces and a fresh training curve that feels slower than your first hour.

What carries over

The client is Candescent Games’ Jujutsu Incremental, place 100952587881256. Based on standard Roblox incremental patterns, prestige in this title carries over:

  • Roll slots unlocked — Techniques, Clans, and Traits you have earned the right to roll remain accessible on the new run.
  • Technique, Clan, and Trait quality tiers — your best pieces from the previous run define your new baseline.
  • Group boost — the Candescent Games 15 % EXP boost is permanent account setup and does not reset.
  • Quest flags — the description promises exclusive quest rewards; some quest flags are one-time clears, others reset with prestige.

What typically does not carry over:

  • Cursed energy bar — the training counter resets to zero or near-zero on the new run.
  • Raid progress — boss clears that are tracked per-run will reset.
  • Currency and consumables — most incremental studios clear inventory on prestige.

The UPD 2 notes are the source of truth for which flags Candescent specifically changed in the August 2026 patch. Confirm there before you assume a flag survived.

The first prestige ritual

Do this once, after you are sure:

  1. Read this page and the updates hub.
  2. Confirm place ID 100952587881256 on the links hub.
  3. Check that all three roll slots hold at least A-tier pieces.
  4. Screenshot or write down your best Technique, Clan, and Trait names.
  5. Redeem any remaining codes in Settings — unused codes do not stack across runs.
  6. Run the session checklist one final time.
  7. Trigger the prestige, then immediately claim the group boost again in case the flag reset.

The second run is faster because your roll slots are already open and your Technique identity is already S or A-tier. The training curve does not feel faster, but you reach the wall again in half the calendar time.

Reincarnation versus soft reset

Some Roblox incrementals distinguish between a soft reset (keeps more account data) and a full reincarnation. Candescent Games has not published a public comparison table for Jujutsu Incremental. The practical difference matters only if the studio separates the two options in a future patch. Until then, treat prestige as a full reincarnation and back up your roll plans on the session checklist or a personal document.

Do not trust a Discord screenshot as a confirmation of carryover rules. Test on a dummy account or wait for the updates hub to log the behavior.

After the first prestige

Go back to the normal loop on how to play. The prestige is not a new genre. It is the same five verbs with a compounding multiplier from the first run. Keep the 15 % boost on. Keep codes in Settings. Keep four-player raids as party content.

The second run is the one that teaches you whether you want a third. Most players who prestige once and return to the wall in three weeks either accept the wall or move to a different Roblox title. That is normal. The wiki will log the third prestige window only if Candescent adds a new unlock tier that makes it worth documenting.

What we will not invent

We will not list a reincarnation tier table we have not seen in the Candescent client. We will not claim a carryover rule from another jujutsu incremental. We will not port Mahoraga, fishing, or reincarnation notes from Jujutsu Kaisen Incremental (Real Mouse Productions, place 79916693834792). If Candescent publishes a longer manifesto, it will be linked from official links and summarized here.

If you saw a YouTube title that says “reincarnation guide” but the description links place 79916693834792, that video is another game. Stay on this page and the official links page for the correct place ID.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

When should I prestige in Jujutsu Incremental?

When your cursed energy bar grows less than 0.5 % per training session and all three roll slots hold at least B-tier pieces. Read how to play and the tier list before you commit.

What carries over after a prestige reset?

Roll slot unlocks and your best Technique, Clan, and Trait tiers carry over. The cursed energy bar and most consumables reset. The 15 % group EXP boost is permanent and does not reset.

Did UPD 2 change prestige rules?

Check the UPD 2 notes and confirm in-game. Candescent Games has not published a public comparison table. Do not trust a Discord screenshot over the live client.

Is the second run faster?

The training curve feels the same, but you reach the wall in roughly half the calendar time because your roll slots are already open. Your first run taught you the loop; your second run lets you execute it.
